OVERVIEW
The Corobrik Building School offers a variety of services with training centres located in Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape.

Our Bricklaying Training Centers are now accredited Trade Test Centers, offering CETA and Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO) certified bricklaying training to the general public, government-appointed students and organization members.
These nonprofit centers aim to empower the community by equipping previously unskilled individuals with valuable skills.

TRADE TEST
CERTIFICATION
641 201 BRICKLAYER
We are an accredited Trade Test Centre (TTC) which allows masonry artisans the opportunity to gain a full bricklaying qualification. The trade test centre works closely with government, non-governmental organisations, private companies and individual to develop qualified artisans to support the South African economy. Requirements: Nated (N2) Bricklaying or Plastering
ARTISAN RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
ARPL is a process whereby people’s prior learning can be formally recognized in terms of registered qualifications, regardless of where and how the learning was attained. ARPL acknowledges that people never stop learning, whether it takes place formally or whether it happens informally. ARPL is to provide an active pathway to full artisan trade qualification/ occupational trade qualification in all sectors of the economy. Requirements: · 3 years relevant work experience · Minimum age of 19 · Certified ID copy · Curriculum Vitae · Letter of employment/ Affidavit indicating trade applying for and duties performed in the trade/ The minimum years of work experience may be accumulated from various traceable employers or services provided to customers in the relevant trade · Relevant qualifications and training as indicated on CV (formal qualifications not required)
SHORT COURSES:
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Training programs of varying durations are available for beginners or those looking to hone their skills in bricklaying, covering CETA-approved modules. Successful completion of these programs leads to a CETA-accredited certificate with a unique trainee number. The short skills program is designed to meet individual needs based on the skills register. 2 Week Course (On-site bricklayer training.) 4 Week Course 4 Month Course (At Corobrik Training Centres)
