Since 1986, the Corobrik Student Architecture Awards has placed 33 winners on the architectural map, both in leading firms, and even resulting in them establishing their own practices. There are no design parameters, just exposure and the recognition of being associated with such a prestigious awards programme. The finalists are selected by the architectural schools of the major universities, while the judges are chosen by the South African Institute of Architects.
